I’M INTO SOMETHING GOOD – Guitar Lesson

Carole King co-wrote this huge but not-often-taught 60s hit! Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits did a fabulous job in the studio!. Enjoy this I'm Into Something Good guitar lesson.

G         C              G            C
Woke up this mornin\' feelin\' fine
     G           C                     G            C
There\'s somethin\' special on my min

C                F          C                  F          G   C     G       G
Last night I met a new girl in the neighbourhood, whoa yeah

D               C                          G/C    G/C
Somethin\' tells me I'm into something good

She\'s the kind of girl who\'s not too shy
And I can tell I\'m her kind of guy
She danced close to me like I hoped she would
(she danced with me like I hoped she would)
Somethin\' tells me I\'m into something good
(Somethin\' tells me I\'m into somethin\')

     D
We only danced for a minute or two
     G    C     G
But then she stuck close to me the whole night through
     D
Can I be fallin\' in love
     A7                                     D
She\'s everything I\'ve been dreamin\' of
                                   A7    D
She\'s everything I\'ve been dreamin\' of

I walked her home and she held my hand
I knew it couldn\'t be just a one-night stand
So I asked to see her next week and she told me I could
(I asked to see her and she told me I could)
Somethin\' tells me I\'m into something good
(Somethin\' tells me I\'m into somethin\')
(Somethin\' tells me I\'m into somethin\', ahhh)

I walked her home and she held my hand
I knew it couldn\'t be just a one-night stand
So I asked to see her next week and she told me I could
(I asked to see her and she told me I could)
Somethin\' tells me I\'m into something good
(somethin\' tells me I\'m into somethin\')
Somethin\' tells me I\'m into something good
(somethin\' tells me I\'m into somethin\')
To something good, oh yeah, something good
(somethin\' tells me I\'m into somethin\')
To something good, something good, something good

Jackson I really like the look of that Dillion also.  there is much contraversy I found when I googled them.  there seems to be bad talk about JSD shack selling China copies Vs the Korea product in the USA.  Didn't find any links for the exact one you have with that anchor part beyond the bridge.
I yours a US  Korea made unit?
What kind of pickups on it?   are they orogonal or did you change them?

Yeah … if your talk to John Vinci aka Tony aka John Dillion … you’ll get a completely different story than if you talk to the guy at JSD. I believe I know most of the truth but it’s complicated. Mine is Korean but I did buy if from an Ebay seller in Canada … about five years ago. It’s one of my favorite guitars …. a wonderful player and to my ear … as nice a s a Ric ….. original pickups yes. Not sure what they used .. toaster style though!
