DO RE MI – Guitar Lesson

What a great way to teach kids the musical scale! Julie Andrews taught it so well in the all-time musical classic "The Sound of Music" but here's my crack at your Do Re Mi guitar lesson!

Doe- a deer, a female deer
Ray- a drop of golden sun
Me- a name I call myself
Far- a long long way to run
Sew- a needle pulling thread
La- a note to follow so
Tea- a drink with jam and bread
That will bring us back to do oh oh oh

Hi Parham. It’s a pick of the root note followed by a down strum. So first chord … pick down on the 5th string C note followed by a down strum on the C chord. That’s the pattern for the song … cheers!
