IT’S SO EASY – Guitar Lesson

Okay …. maybe not a classic "riff" but certainly some classic chords pieced together by a classic genius! Although often considered one of his best songs, It's So Easy was never released as a single, Co-written by Norman Petty, it was recorded in New Mexico in 1958. Here's a wonderful easy player! Jackson, another great selection, thanks! It was the last single recorded with the Cricket and…you're right, it wasn never released as a single. Also, the missing words as sung by Buddy himself are…Look into your heart and see…what your love book has set apart for me.  Thanks again…keep up the good work!

when i saw "another buddy holly classic" in my email i thought it was gonna be "not fade away" since so many other bands covered it ,but "its so easy" is another great buddy holly song.
didn't someone else make a hit out of it in the 70's, linda ronstadt i think

Thanks for the lesson, it's a fun song to play. A correction to the lyrics, it is "Where you're concerned, my heart has learned".

Apologize for that Stan. Sometimes I trust the lyrics sites on the Internet a bit too much.

It would be nice if you also write down the strumming pattern for beginners. For example:

Verse first line: D-D-DUD- D-DD-UD   (up connects to the second line)

second line: D-D-DUD- D-D-D  (-udu=connects strumming  to the first line)

 Bridge:  ……

Thank you Magdalena. I appreciate the suggestion. The truth is I fully realize that the free lessons I created several years ago now were a little lacking in that department. Have a look at this video which is based on my premium site. I deal with strumming much more effectively and thoroughly.     sale.songmentor.com
