thanks for the lesson keep them coming
Thanks Tod …. wanted to have some basics in here as well!
It's really good that you have these basics on here, I remember my guitar teacher… she told me nothing about string names which made everything really confusing for me.
Well Tom the site is mostly about learning songs but I really appreciate you noting that the basic stuff is still important … all the best …. Jackson!
Started playing in the 70s. Self taught. Never had any formal instructions. I wish I played regularly like I do now. The reason was partly the lack of instructions. I learned the basic chords from song books and that was pretty much my playing ability. Ive always envied lead guitarist with their master of entire fret board. The fingers moving so swiftly.
The internet has been a blessing with sites that offer free instructions, notably yours. Thanks for your hard work and contribution and hope that your efforts are compensated some how. You are absolutely right. I'm not disappointed. Not a fan of the Beetles. I guess I was jealous that the girls love them so much. Anyway I broke down and tried " You Can't Do That".I just loved playing it. I'm finally getting somewhere with a little bit of theory. Thanks again.

Thanks Clemente ….. for keeping me posted on your progress and for starting to come around on The Beatles

Thanks Bob … most folks can’t wait to get to the songs!
