Hi Michael! Yep … down and dirty for the intro … then I would clean it up for the chording …. have fun!

Hi Jackson,
I’m so glad I found your web site. I’m having the best time relearning all of my favorite songs from my youth. Songs like You’ve got to hide your love away, Oh pretty women, Long cool women and now Secret agent man. You’re a very good guitar player/teacher and I’m having a blast learning from you.
Thanks Joe ….. happy to help you relive those great days!
Hiya Jackson, absolutely brilliant sir, i'm really pleased i found your site, i,m just starting to use the barr chords now, thanks to the video on here, greatly appreciate your time, all the best
Thanks Andy … and welcome aboard!
Thanks for sharing secret agent man. I used to watch the show and always thought that was a cool riff. Made me a Johny Rivers fan. Never could figure it out tho. Guess I'm a guitar player not a musician! Budnowski
Thanks Bud …. appreciated!
I always loved this song and the show. But I did not pick up the guitar until 4 years ago. And thanks to you I can add this song to my list. Great job on the instruction. Ed
Thanks Ed ….. glad you are revisiting some of these great old tunes!
Hi Jackson,
I have been working on a Rod Stewart song, the first cut is the deepest. I am having a tough time on the solo. Would you be able to shed any light on the on that part of the song? Thanks again. Keep rocking.
Ed
hi jackson im realy impressed keep it coming
Hey i would love to know what kind of guitar do you use or that Johnny uses so that i can get it beacuse this is in the top 5 best guitar riffs ever
Well I think Johnny played a black Gibson ES335. I’m using an ESP Paramount. I have a black 335 style guitar for sale should you decide to go that route. By the way … what are the other four best riffs ever?
and i would love to know if there were any guitars that sound alot like yours or are very close that i wouldnt have to spend a huge amount of money
thanks
Jordan
